| 抄録（和） | 本稿では,通信放送技術衛星(COMETS)を用いて行ったKaバンド航空衛星通信実験について報告する.航空局アンテナにはアクティブフェーズドアレーアンテナを使用しており,アンテナは航空機の窓の内側に設置する.アンテナ追尾,ドップラシフト補償はオープンループ方式で行う.実験は1999年7月に実施した.伝搬特性実験では,フェージングの存在を検証するための一検討として機体による反射波を測定した.衛星のアンテナパターン測定実験ではCOMETSから2ビーム(関東,東海ビーム)を照射し,両ビームのエリアを横断飛行して受信電力を測定した.データ伝送実験では茨城県鹿島市の地上局から航空機へCOMETSを中継してBPSK変調,伝送速度24kbpsでデータ伝送を行った. |
| 抄録（英） | This paper describes Ka-band aeronautical satellite communications experiments using the Japanese engineering test satellite, COMETS. An active phased array antenna was installed in an aeronautical mobile station. We used an antenna-tracking and a doppler-shift compensation system with open-loop control. The experiments were performed on July 1999. In the fading observation experiment, we observed the carrier wave reflection by the surface of the wing of the airplane. In the COMETS antenna-pattern measurement the aeronautical mobile station flew across the satellite beam-coverage and the received power was measured. The aeronautical mobile station succeeded receiving the data transmitted from the fixed station located in Kashima, Ibaraki prefecture, through the satellite through-repeater. 24 kbps BPSK modems were used. |
