OTA-C filter has attracted a great deal since that can be integrated on monolithic IC.The OTA-C filter's responses depend on the ratio of variable transconductance G_m to a capacitance C.The variation of C's values cause tolerances of the filter's responses. Then, some automatic tuning circuit with the phase detection that compensates tolerances of the filter's responses has been reported. In this paper, we propose an automatic tuning circuit with the amplitude detection that can be realized with simple structure. A design example of OTA-C filter and proposed automatic tuning circuit is examined by the computer simulation and the experimental circuit realized with discreate elements. |
