| 抄録（和） | ATM網の呼設定制御に関する検討を行なうために、離散時間系待ち行列システムの厳密解析を行なっている。ATM網においては、呼が発生するトラヒックのバ-スト性が無視し得ない。そこで、本解析では、新しく呼を要求しているトラヒックについては、その到着時間間隔分布を一般分布としてモデル化している。また、既に呼が設定されているトラヒックについては到着個数が一般分布の幾何分布とする。このような2種類の入力トラヒックをもつ待ち行列システムの解析を行なうことにより、待ち時間分布、及び、その平均(バッファ無限長の場合)棄却率(バッファ長有限の場合)を導出している。本論文では、数値例により、入力トラヒックのバ-スト性が網に与える影響、および、トラヒックの平滑化による網性能の劣化を防ぐ効果について明らかにしている。 |
| 抄録（英） | To examine the traffic control process in ATM network environment,we provide an exact analysis for a discrete-time single-server queueing system where two different arrival processes are assumed:(1)arrivals of cells with a general interarrival time distribution,and(2)geometric arrivals of cells in batches with a general batch size distribution.We consider both infinite and finite buffer capacity cases.Through numerical examples,we investigate how the ATM network performance depends on the degree of burstiness of the input traffic.We also examine how smoothing input traffic reduces network congestion. |
