| 抄録（和） | セル廃棄が映像品質に及ぼす影響を調べるため、セル廃棄に起因して映像に現れる劣化の種類を通信系の品質要因と関連づけて示した。また、セル長とセル廃棄率をパラメ-タとして、符号化歪のない状態でセル廃棄品質評価を行い、(1)廃棄率一定の場合にはセル長が長い方が好まれること、(2)劣化形状は走査線方向のライン状の劣化がブロック状より好まれることを明らかにした。 |
| 抄録（英） | This paper describes the effect of video cell loss on subjective quality in ATM network.First,network factors which affect video quality are shown.Next,the relations between network factors and quality factors,which are observed as impairment in pictures,are discussed.Finally,the effects of cell length and shape of impairment on subjective quality are examined.Experimental results show as follows;(1)the longer cell length is preferred to the shorter one under the constant cell loss rate condition,(2)the line shape is preferred to the rectangular one under the same cell length and cell loss rate condition. |
