We are happy to announce that the 9th Asian-European Workshop on Information Theory (AEW9) will take place at Dogo Onsen, Ehime, Japan from May 27th (Wed.) through 29th (Fri.), 2015, as a tribute to Prof. Saburo Tazaki (Ehime Univ.). Dogo Onsen is one of the most historical and famous hot springs in Japan.

The workshop focuses on fundamental concepts in Information Theory.  Speakers are expected to pay a lot of attention to the educational aspects of the presented topic and  concentrate on the main ideas behind the developed theory. Talks that provide a survey with a clear explanation of previous results are also welcomed. Highly technical talks are not welcomed this time.
