Pursuant to the Provisions of IEICE on Officer Elections (Partially revised July 19th, 2011), the election of the candidates for the Executives for fiscal 2012 will be held on the Web.

IEICE Cancels the General Conference 2011

On colorization of the online version of IEICE Transactions on Information and Systems
From January 1st 2011, our editorial policy will be changed partially, and we will accept color submission in the IEICE Transactions on Information and Systems, in which color figures, color photographs and color tables appear in color in the online version, and they appear in black and white in the printed version.

The office building, Kikai-Shinko-Kaikan, has been under earthquake-proof const-ruction since 1st of October, 2006. In this context, we moved our office to room 101 on the ground floor of the same building at the beginning of January 2007.

Suspension of subscription to the IEICE Transactions Online
Subscription to the IEICE Transactions Online is suspended because of an unpayment of membership fee.
Please notice that after your payment, it will take about a month when you will be able to subscribe to the IEICE Transactions Online again.

The Term of Payment of Membership Fee will be changed.
According to the decision of the Board of Directors, the term of payment of a membership fee will be changed from the fiscal year 2006. The membership fee for Members and Student members shall be paid before the next fiscal year in advance. In this connection, we will send you a bill of your membership fee for the next fiscal year in every November of previous year. Regarding the fiscal year 2006, we will send you the bill of your membership fee twice.

The first, we will send you it for April, 2006 - March, 2007 in May, 2006.
The second, we will send you it for April, 2007 - March, 2008 in November, 2006.

Termination of free access to IEICE Transactions Online
The online editions of IEICE Transactions, which was available free of charge to date, shift to a fee-based system under which only members will have access the main texts of contributed manuscripts from 2 April 2006, as is well known.
With the new system, the passwords used to date is no longer accepted from 2 April, with new passwords to be issued to only individual members through the regular mail service by the end of March 2006.

General Assembly approved a change, effective April 2006, away from distribution of IEICE Transactions in the conventional journal format to furnishing the rights to access online versions.
