Notice of Change to the Submission Process for The IEICE Transactions
	As of October 1, 2007, we will implement a new submission procedure that will be more convenient for submitters.
	A Notice of Move of the IEICE Headquarters Office
	The office building, Kikai-Shinko-Kaikan, has been under earthquake-proof const-ruction since 1st of October, 2006. In this context, we moved our office to room 101 on the ground floor of the same building at the beginning of January 2007. 	Suspension of subscription to the IEICE Transactions Online
	Subscription to the IEICE Transactions Online is suspended because of an unpayment of membership fee. Please notice that after your payment, it will take about a month when you will be able to subscribe to the IEICE Transactions Online again.
	The Term of Payment of Membership Fee will be changed.
	According to the decision of the Board of Directors, the term of payment of a membership fee will be changed from the fiscal year 2006. The membership fee for Members and Student members shall be paid before the next fiscal year in advance. In this connection, we will send you a bill of your membership fee for the next fiscal year in every November of previous year. Regarding the fiscal year 2006, we will send you the bill of your membership fee twice. The first, we will send you it for April, 2006 - March, 2007 in May, 2006. The second, we will send you it for April, 2007 - March, 2008 in November, 2006. 	IEICE Electronics Express (ELEX) was selected for indexing in Thomson Scientific (formerly known as Thomson ISI) products/services.

	Termination of free access to IEICE Transactions Online
	The online editions of IEICE Transactions, which was available free of charge to date, shift to a fee-based system under which only members will have access the main texts of contributed manuscripts from 2 April 2006, as is well known. With the new system, the passwords used to date is no longer accepted from 2 April, with new passwords to be issued to only individual members through the regular mail service by the end of March 2006.
	IEICE Transactions to Move from Journal to Online Format
	General Assembly approved a change, effective April 2006, away from distribution of IEICE Transactions in the conventional journal format to furnishing the rights to access online versions.
	Important Notice of Changes in Overseas Membership Development Program(OMDP)
	From April 2005, applications to the IEICE Overseas Membership Development Program(OMDP) from members resident in Republic of Korea and Taiwan are no longer accepted. (The discount on page charges by OMDP is not provided to author(s) whose manuscript is submitted after April 1, 2005(JST).)
	Important Notice of Changes in Author Manuscript Submission Qualifications
	The manuscripts from authors failing to satisfy the required submission qualifications are not accepted from July 1, 2005.
	Notice of putting the IEICE Transactions on the web site " HighWire "
	On a trial basis, for a step toward a fee-based subscription, from January 2005 issue, English papers will also be released in a web page, "HighWire" maintained by Stanford University Libraries' HighWire Press.
	IEICE Electronics Express (ELEX) has been launched on April 10, 2004!
	IEICE Electronics Express (ELEX) is an all-electronic journal published twice a month by IEICE and edited by the Electronics Society in IEICE. The website for manuscript submission to IEICE Electronics Express (ELEX) has been opened on Jan. 30, 2004. We are looking forward to receiving your submission soon!
	Papers published in IEICE Electronics Express can be accessed freely on trial basis
	Until Dec. 2004, both bibliographic information and PDF files of the respective papers published in IEICE Electronics Express (ELEX) can be accessed freely ---without login procedures--- on trial basis. E-mail alert of the latest update is now under preparation. If you hope to receive the e-mail alert, please register your e-mail address.
	User ID and password are required to access the PDF files of the papers in the IEICE Transactions Onilne from June 1, 2004
	From June 1, 2004, all readers including IEICE members will be required to enter user ID and password to access the PDF files of the papers that have appeared in the Japanese-language or English-language IEICE Transactions. To obtain the right to access the papers, please refer to the following web page.
	Service of issuing an e-mail address for IEICE members will be introduced
	As one of the services provided by IEICE, an e-mail address (belonging to the IEICE domain) will be issued to interested members. Mails received at the IEICE e-mail address can be automatically forwarded to another e-mail address.
