to change your address
If your personal information, such as your address, has changed, please notify
the IEICE Membership Activities Section of the change as soon
as possible, in order to ensure that you continue to receive publications from
the IEICE. Changes notified by the 1st of a month will be applied to the delivery
of publications from the next month.

How
to change your Society membership and the IEICE Transactions you wish to receive.
The Societies and the IEICE Transactions for which you register are fixed for
one year from April to March and cannot be changed in the middle of this period,
except in the situations listed below.
If you wish to change your registration for Society membership or the IEICE Transactions that you receive for the next
year, please notify the IEICE Membership Activities Section of the information
listed below, by e-mail or fax, by October 1.
Changes notified by October 1 will be applied to your registration information from April of next year.

| Changes to your registration are accepted at any time in the following
cases: |

You wish to add a new Society membership or receive additional Transactions; |

You wish to change your registration to receive Transactions issued by a Society
to which you belong. |
How
to withdraw from IEICE membership
Please notify the IEICE Membership Activities Society of your wish to withdraw
from IEICE membership by e-mail or fax. Be sure to provide your membership number,
name and reasons for withdrawal.
Attention:
Be sure to make full payment of fees before you withdraw. The annual fee applies
to the period between April and March.
Note Article 13 of the Articles of Association and Regulations of the IEICE:
Article 13:A member who wants to resign his/her membership shall make full payment
of fees due and submit a withdrawal notice, outlining his/her reasons for the
decision.
Any membership fees already paid will not be refunded.
How
to change your membership classification
If you become a student, you can change your membership classification from Member
to Student Member by notifying the IEICE Membership Activities Section of the
information listed by e-mail or fax:

Attention:
Applications for change of membership classification are accepted at any time.If
your address also changes, please notify the IEICE Membership Activities Section
of the details.
Your Student Membership card will be sent to you later.If you have not yet paid
the membership fee, please replace the standard fee with the student member fee
and pay the student member fee.
