| This year Singapore overseas section focused on the research and development (R&D) activities in microwave, millimetre wave (mmW) in the academic and research institutions in Singapore. Prof. Tetsuya Ueda, Kyoto Institute of Technology visited Singapore to deliver the talk on “Nonreciprocal CRLH Metamaterials and their Applications to Antennas” and also shared the research experiences. The motivation to publish the publications in IEICE transactions was emphasized. The drive for new recruitment of IEICE members has been initiated before the seminar and the IEICE pamphlets were distributed after the seminar including the application forms, and how to submit the forms. Also explained about the 50% discount for existing IEEE members when they enrol membership with IEICE. |
