Due to the very hot topics and the distinguished speakers, this special session has attracted more than 130 attendees from the delegates of APCC/MDMC'04 (coming from more than 20 countries/regions) and local IEICE members. Many questions and comments have been raised from the floor and such kind of discussions continue during the coffee breaks and even after the session. Also, before and during the session, many younger researchers/students who are not the IEICE members yet picked the IEICE Membership Application Forms back. Therefore, I believe we have successfully enhanced the appearance of IEICE in China and even all over the world through the APCC/MDMC'04 delegates.
