ESS (Engineering Science Society) has been supporting fundamental and/or interdisciplinary researches in electronics, information and communication engineering. Subsocieties and technical committees in ESS are in different statuses and environments, and their needs also differs. However, nurturing young researchers and students is a common important issue. I would like to extend supports by ESS for the activities in the subsocieties and technical committees. I also would like to tackle the common important issue with all the members of ESS.
