Cancellation Policy

Cancellation received in writing at EMC'09/Kyoto Registration Secretariat no later than May 1, 2009 will obtain a full refund, less bank transfer fees.

  1. All foreign visitors entering Japan must possess valid passports.
  2. Citizens of some countries may be required to apply for entry visas in advance.
  3. Depending on the country, visa applications can take up to ONE MONTH to be processed. It is therefore recommended that participants contact their local Japanese Consular Offices to determine whether or not a visa is required, as soon as possible.
  4. A list of countries with visa exemptions can be found here.
  5. Should a visa be needed, participants should submit the Visa Information Form visa_info_form.xls (.xls 44KB) visa_info_form.pdf (.pdf 44KB) to the EMC '09 Kyoto Registration Desk well in advance.

  2. We send you the invoice via E-Mail. Please transfer the money to our bank account indicated on the invoice. The commission for the money transfer must be paid by yourself.
  3. After confirmation of transfer we send you the Proceeding (CD-ROM) and receipt to the declared address for delivery.
