Paper submission website

Submissions can only be accepted electronically via the paper submission website. This website will be available from September 1, 2008. (Closed)

Accepted papers

Notifications of paper acceptance will be sent to the ID holder no later than March 1, 2009. The ID holder can also confirm the result on the paper submission website.

Primary author’s registration

The primary author is an author who takes the responsibility for the registration of the symposium and he is independent of the order in the author's list. The committee recommends that the primary author holds ID for the paper and abstract submission. The number of paper submissions allowed is limited to one per primary author. Each primary author must complete the registration before May 1, 2009. If you do not complete the registration, the Program Committee will remove your paper from the proceedings.

Other authors can register to the symposium because the above limitation is only related to the number of paper submissions per primary author.

Review

Submissions will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee based on these criteria: technical content, novelty/innovativeness, and relevance to the topic of the conference.

Organized session

Author of organized sessions can get more information regarding these sessions at (http://www.ieice.org/emc09/callforpaper.html).

Awards

The Risaburo Sato Award will be awarded to the authors of the most outstanding paper. The committee will also present awards to the authors of paper that are of high merit. In addition, awards will be presented to the student authors as judged by the committee.
