Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is widely recognized as a key concept in our highly electronic culture, and it goes without saying that EMC technologies are indispensable to our computer- and communication-driven society.

The symposium, chaired by Prof. Akira Sugiura of Tohoku University, was held at the Sendai International Center in Sendai City, Japan. The site is surrounded by a forest that is lush and green in the season the symposium was held. There were more than 450 participants and 220 contributions.

The symposium was concluded in a great success!
