Workshop on Device-Centric Cooperation Technology Towards Next Generation Wireless Communications

The limited availability of frequency resources suitable for mobile communications is a significant challenge for 6G. Device-centric cooperation technology has emerged as a promising approach to address this challenge. Device-centric cooperation, for example, through multi-input multi-output (MIMO) transmission or relay transmission with frequency conversion enables the efficient utilization of valuable frequency bands that offer excellent propagation characteristics but have relatively long wavelengths. These bands have traditionally posed challenges for enhancing MIMO spatial multiplexing due to antenna size constraints. This workshop aims to provide opportunities to present the latest research results regarding devise-centric cooperation technologies. Distinguished speakers from industry and academia will present their latest most recent research and development results. The discussion at the workshop is also expected to promote the exchange of new ideas among researchers.
