In 2017, all technical committees in the IEICE Communication Society operate their conferences as follows.
- Technical digests (the IEICE Technical Report) are provided electrically via the website. No paper publications are provided on site.
- All participants except presenters or annually registered ones are requested to pay their registration fee in advance.
- All presenters are requested to pay 3000 JPY (exc. tax) as a page charge of the IEICE Technical Report. Presenters can download from the website the issue of the Technical Report including their paper.
- Annual registration system has been introduced. The annual registration offers the right to join all the conferences of the corresponding committee, and to download the full issues of the corresponding Technical Report through the registration year.
- All students can attend the conference without any charge provided they do not refer to the Technical Report.
- IEICE student members can make the annual registration of up to three technical committees without any charge. The annual registration for students includes the right to download the Technical Report of the corresponding committees through the registration year.
