APSIT 2015
Call for Participation

Welcome to APSITT 2015!

Ayubowan!

The 10th Asia-Pacific Symposium on Information and Telecommunication Technologies (APSITT2015) will be held August 4-7, 2015 in Colombo, Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. It will be organised by Technical Committees on Information Network, Network Systems and Communication Systems, Communications Society, IEICE. APSITT 2015 will present the latest results in research and application in information and telecommunication technologies and provide a unique opportunity for engineers and researchers in information and telecommunication community to discuss the trends in the field.

Sri Lanka, which was named Ceylon until 1972, is an island country located off the southern coast of India. In Japan, Sri Lanka might be known by its production of tea, but the relationship between Sri Lanka and Japan has been maintained for centuries. Japan has been supporting Sri Lanka after its independence to develop in many industrial sectors, especially in the ceramics, electronics, metal and IT infrastructure.

Sometimes Sri Lanka people are picked up on media for their friendliness toward Japan. The speech by H. E. J. R. Jayawardhana, later Sri Lankan President, at the San Francisco Peace Conference in 1951 had a great influence on the decision about the treatment of postwar Japan.

Sri Lanka has many intriguing scenic spots. There are eight attractive world's natural and cultural heritage sites that represent the rich nature and long tradition of Sri Lanka. It is our great pleasure to hold the APSITT 2015 in Colombo, which is the largest exotic port city in the country.

We cordially look forward to your participation and hope you enjoy the APSITT 2015!
