Call for Papers ISAP i-02 |
2002 Interim INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON ANTENNAS AND
PROPAGATION
26-28 November, 2002, YRP
(Yokosuka Research Park), JAPAN
This symposium, the eighth ISAP, will be held at Yokosuka Research Park
(YRP) in Yokosuka under the sponsorship of the Institute of Electronics,
Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE), the co-sponsorship of the
Korea Electromagnetic Engineering Society (KEES), in cooperation with the
International Union of Radio Science (URSI), the Antennas and Propagation
Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE/AP-S)
and the Electronics and Communications Division of the Institution of
Electrical Engineers (IEE), and supported by YRP R&D Committee.
ISAP i-02 is intended to provide an international
forum for the exchange of information on the progress of research on antennas,
propagation, electromagnetic wave theory, and related fields. Promotion of
participants interaction is another important objective of this meeting.
This interim symposium focuses on the following three emerging fields.
A1 Space-Time Channel Characterization and Modeling
A2 Propagation
Prediction and Modeling
A3 Adaptive and Smart Antennas
A4 Integrated and Active Antennas
A5 Millimeter Wave Antennas
A6 Optically Controlled Antennas
A7 Antennas for Broadband Wireless Systems
A8 Built-in Antennas for Wireless Terminals
A9 Integration Techniques for Wireless Systems
A10 Mobile Satellite Communications
B1 Interactions between Electromagnetic Wave and
Human Body
B2 Phantoms and Exposure Measurements
B3 Antennas for Thermal Therapy
B4 EMC/EMI in Medical Devices
B5 Wireless Systems for Life Support Techniques
C1 Computational Methods for Large Objects

Other Physical Systems
C6 Hybrid Methods
C7 Applications to Millimeter wave and Optical
Devices
C8 Electromagnetic Education
Original papers are solicited that have not been presented previously and that describe new contributions in the areas suggested in the SUBJECT CATEGORY. Each author is requested to submit a 4-page camera-ready paper written in English, including all text, references, figures and tables.
Please refer to FORMAT FOR PAPERS to prepare the papers.
The detailed information is available on ISAP i-02 Electronic Submission Page.
The IEICE owns the copyright to the contributions.
Authors must submit a signed Copyright Transfer Form for the paper.

YRP (Yokosuka Research Park), located in the middle of Japan, has
developed into a mobile telecommunications research park such as cannot be
found anywhere else in the world with over 40 advanced research institutions
from all over the world. Train access to pass through Tokyo and Yokohama from
Narita airport is available.
Participants requiring a visa should apply to the local embassy or consulate of Japan on their own responsibility as possible. Remember that, in some countries, it can take more than three months to get the visa.
