About MVE

MVE is a forum for exchanging cutting-edge technological development results on media experience and virtual environment. Major topics of interest involve: intelligent communication, artificial reality, and the foundation of multimedia technologies. This group is sponsored by IEICE.

Eligibility for presentations

Must be a member of IEICE or IEEJ.

Languages

Either English or Japanese is accepted for writing an article. However, you will probably need the help of Japanese native. Documents and notices are provided only in Japanese.

Procedure

You will be informed by email on how to construct your article. Your article should be between 4-6 pages in A4 paper size.

Article submission deadline

Usually four weeks prior to corresponding meetings. Exact deadline dates will be informed by e-mail.

Presentation time

Each presenter is allowed 25-30 minutes, including questions.

MVE Technical Reports (Proceedings)

All presenters will be given one "MVE Technical Report" at the meeting site.

Publication dates

"MVE Technical Reports" are usually published one week prior to corresponding meetings.

Join the meeting!

No registration fees are necessary to join meetings. Just come to the designated place on that day.

There will be a small fee for "MVE Technical Reports", hard copys of presenter's presentations.

Please note, to join MVE meetings on a regular basis, you must become a member of IEICE or IEEJ.
