Organized Session

  The EMC’14/Tokyo Technical Program Committee calls for Organized Session Proposals, which address specific topics of high current interest related to various aspects of EMC.
  A prospective organizer should post a proposal for an Organized Session topic indicating; (1) session title, (2) session description, (3) expected number of speakers and their corresponding topics (list of speakers if possible), (4) expected number of attendees, (5) session organizer(s) information (name, affiliation, and contact information), (6) other information and special requests, if any. The session description should address its category, objectives, contents, originality and timeliness of the proposal, as well as the impact on the EMC community and beyond.
  Submit your proposal(s) to the Technical Program Committee by email (emc14-pc@mail.ieice.org) by June 30, 2013. The results for acceptance will be notified by July 15, 2013. Please understand that not all the proposals will be accepted due to the limitations of session slots.
  The speakers of the accepted Organized Sessions should submit their full-length papers by November 30, 2013. They also need to register for EMC’14/Tokyo and submit the final camera-ready versions of their papers no later than January 31, 2014. Please refer to the Symposium website for further information.

For proposals of organized sessions that are accepted, the organizer will be responsible for promotion of the organized session, coordination of reviews for submitted papers, and moderation of the session at the Symposium. Procedure, regulations and important dates for papers of organized sessions are the same as those of regular sessions, and the papers will be published in the Symposium proceedings. An author for an organized session will submit a full-length manuscript to submission web site, and PC will send the file to the organizer for reviewing. Session technical program committee will review the paper, and the organizer will provide result of review process and program of the session to the PC. Please be aware that the Symposium could not provide any financial support to organizers and speakers of organized sessions, such as travel expenses and registration fee.
